No Bake Walnut Carob Brownies Recipe
Looking absolutely scrumptious, every square is a piece of heaven!
Servings: 16 squares
- 2 cups raw walnuts
- 2 cups pitted dates
- 2 serves cacao protein powder
- 4 tbsps cacao powder
- 2 tbsps The Australian Carob Co. Roasted or Raw Carob Powder
- 3 tbsps nut butter
- 3 tbsps coconut oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp vanilla bean extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
- dark chocolate or carob chips (cruelty-free)
Run all the ingredients in a food processor.
Flatten the mixture into a slice tray.
Melt or make some dark chocolate (or carob chips) and drizzle on top.
Set in refrigerator. Slice to serve.
Have some extra warm water handy (to add if need more "fudgeyness". Plus a handful of walnuts to add towards the end for crunch.
*You can leave out the cacao protein powder and just add one (1) tablespoon extra each of cacao and carob powders.
Will keep well in freezer or refrigerator.
