Triple Berry Carob Smoothie Recipe
Think of this smoothie as an adult milkshake with all the extra nutrients you need added in! We love this flavor combination, the simple preparation and the right amount of energy boost it gives us.
- Berries. Plump, fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries are excellent to use. However, if you have other berries available, feel free to make your own berry mix.
- The Nutty Side. Avoid the “naughty list” by not buying that jar that is notorious for excessive sugar and unhealthy oils. Switch to the good side by making your own carob hazelnut spread or carob notella at home.
- Creamy Texture. Unsweetened almond milk fits the bill and boosts the flavor to the next level. However, if you’d prefer milk or heavy cream, those are fantastic options as well.
- Rolled Oats. For extra fiber.
- Gourmet Factor. Cinnamon and pure vanilla extract absolutely offers a tasty layer of decadence into this recipe.
What takes this Triple Berry Carob Smoothie experience further is that it’s vegan, dairy-free, and refined sugar free. If you love this recipe, explore other breakfast smoothie options on our Carob Smoothies page!
