This creamy smoothie is the perfect morning beverage with nutrients, fiber and refreshing notes of tropical fruits. Our Oolong Tea, Carob and Fruit Smoothie Recipe combines the energy-boosting power of tea with the tasty and nutritious profile of mangoes, guava and coconut. Carob powder not only sweetens this smoothie but also supplies fiber and additional health benefits. While the unsweetened almond milk creates a dairy-free base that allows other flavors to stand out.
If you don’t have access to almond milk, homemade oat milk, cashew milk and other types of plant-based milk will do. That is if you want to keep it vegan. The versatility of this smoothie recipe lets you choose your milk. So feel free to use dairy or heavy cream if you’d prefer that. Plain yoghurt would make a good alternative too!
We have a long list of healthy smoothie recipes that you can make at home or for your cafe. It would be great to see more and more food establishments using carobs in their offer line-up. Please visit our Carob Smoothies to view all your options, from smoothie drinks to smoothie bowls.
